Committee 2009/10

Welcome to David Bessell who has joined the Committee for 2009/10 - presently in the role of Events Co-ordinator. We are still short of a volunteer to take on the Registrar role next season, and our Secretary needs to be relieved before we commence competition. Please contact Roger Hosie if you are able to take on this role.

Season 2009/10

The new season will commence on the first Saturday in October 2009. We welcome back all members and all new athletes willing to come and have a try. An orientation, information and registration day will be announced soon - but it is usually the Sunday morning after the AFL Grand Final! 

Congratulations Julia Minnucci!

Julia Minnucci represented CLAC wonderfully well at the Australian Little Athletics Championships in Adelaide on Sunday 26th of April. Julia ran a personal best to finish 8th in the 800m and a very credible 11th in the 1500m. Tasmania won the Dick Healy trophy for the best minor state, and finished 3rd overall on hadicap, our best result in many years. Well done Julia!

Clarence Athletes Sizzle at State Championships

Clarence athletes put in some incredible performances at the Domain Athletics Centre over the long weekend at the 2009 State Championships. Nearly 40 athletes recorded a ton of personal bests, broke 20 club synthetic track records and a won swag of 48 medals.
