CONGRATULATIONS to our CLAC U13 SPORTSMANSHIP Nominee ROSE KENNA.
Rose has competed for CLAC since U6s and prior to that she was an eager member of our Tiny Tots program while watching big sister Liana and brother Patrick compete.
Rose is a talented sprinter and her favourite event is relays as she loves working as a team and celebrating success together and she loves learning from her peers.
Rose is very supportive of all our athletes at CLAC and has inspired her younger cousins to come along and have a go too.
Rose is very proud of the PBs she has been able to achieve this year however her very favourite thing about CLAC is the friendships she has made.
We’re very proud of you Rose and think that you are a wonderful role model for our CLAC athletes and represent our Centre beautifully.
GOODLUCK in the State U13 Sportsmanship Awards.

It was wonderful to watch our CLAC Community line the track early on Saturday morning to cheer on our U15 athletes in their final ever 100m sprint at CLAC and our newest athletes,U6s final 100m for their first ever season. It is a long held tradition that the athletes and parents etc love and we hope it continues for years to come and many of those U6s will get to experience it again in 9 seasons time. I remember those U15s faces from U6s and it’s been an absolute joy to watch them compete over the years – CONGRATULATIONS and THANK YOU for your loyalty to CLAC.
Results are now updated for our last CLAC Championship Meet.

CLAC COMMITTEE MEETING – TONIGHT Monday 28th FEB at 7.30pm
We need new members for our Committee to remain viable for future seasons.
It’s imperative that we are able to pass on current members years of knowledge before they ‘retire’. This is simply good practice to ensure we don’t waste everyone’s time in the future figuring out what is required to run an efficient Centre. We have several members moving on after this season.
Actually some members are attending our Centre even while their kids are not. As you can appreciate giving up their Saturday mornings, although they have never complained, is not sustainable when your children are no longer involved and I’m sure you’d all agree that it’s time to for new Centre parents / carers to step up and take the reins.
We’d love these fresh faces to ‘shadow’ current members at our last two meets and start attending Committee Meetings to be able to ascertain where they would be most useful in the Centre environment.
There are many roles that need filling, some big and some small but as always, more hands mean light work for everyone involved. You can simply join our Meeting with our Zoom invite and have a taste of how to become involved and ensure our Centre continues to be successful.
We know you will all have something to bring that will make our Centre even better.
