A big congratulations to Rachel Hosie for smashing the first CLAC outside record for the year. Rachel broke the U14 girls Shot Put with a Put of 10.36m at Queenborough. Previous record 8.73m
What is an outside record?
When a CLAC athlete is competing at a different location representing CLAC for example another local club meet or a state meet.

Under 9 Girls Parents are on Canteen and BBQ this week
Three more records fell at Thursday’s show day meet.
A big congratulations to Liana Kenna breaking two track records, U14 70 mtrs and U14 200 mtrs and Jessica Minifie smashing the U14 Javelin by 4.78 mtrs.
Another week at CLAC and more records have fallen. At Saturday’s meet two records were broken congratulations to Jemima Geappen – breaking the Under 6 girls Long Jump and to Rachel Hosie breaking the under 14 girls Shot Put by over a meter.
An extra call out goes to Leah Felsch who equaled the Under 11 girls 100 meters record fantastic running.

BBQ/Canteen – Under 11 girls
There are a number of different sporting competitions happening this weekend so a number of our regular helps and committee members are away. To ensure that things continue to run smoothly as always we will require assistance from parents at events. Even if you are a new CLAC family there is always something you can do to help. Just ask your age group coordinator or friendly committee members.
