Our CLAC Multi Event was a massive success last weekend. We had 127 very talented athletes battling it out to earn points towards their total.
It was fantastic to watch our ‘throwers’ run an 800 (the first for the season for some of them!) and our ‘runners’ jump and throw their way through Friday night and Saturday morning.
We had so many helpers we ended up finishing on time which was brilliant – well done to you all!
The results of the Multi and medal presentations will be held at our next Saturday Meet (23rd Jan).
We do have to congratulate a few individuals for some new records set:
Blake H U15 100m Hurdles, new record 15.1.
Palepa L U11 Shot Put, new record 9.20
Maighan A an equal record for u13 Shot Put 9.90.
Can I also give a massive congratulations to U6 Boys. You are such a big age group yet you go about competing each week with such enthusiasm and are so well behaved. We look forward to seeing you develop into our senior CLAC athletes. Thank you to the U6B AGC David Genford for your patience and expert guidance to this group, you’re doing a fantastic job!
