CLAC Walks Championships & Athletes Choice Meet has been CANCELLED.
Our Committee members have visited the site and there is ALOT of water visible and parts of the track have been deemed unsafe for athletes.
We don’t mind wet weather, but we need to be able to proceed safely & at this time we can not do that.
The option to delay the start of our Meet is unfortunately hampered due to many volunteers who have other commitments after 11/12pm and cannot stay any later. to be able to run an athletes choice day we need plenty of time. To restrict events would make no sense on athletes choice day!
We’ll get our heads together and see if we can reschedule this Meet.
