We return to normal programming this week. And we are back to Program 1, however on a different rotation.
0815 warm-up for a 0830 start on Saturday.
Tiny Tots Program to begin at 1000, with the possibility of a run on the track first up, but event progress will determine that.
Canteen and Uniform: There will be normal sales of uniform items this weekend from 0830-0930. The Canteen will be open for the duration of the meeting. Cooking volunteers are requested for making egg and bacon rolls and then later sausages.
*EFTPOS available for both Canteen and Uniform Sales, there is a $5 minimum charge on the EFTPOS.
We only have one EFTPOS terminal, so be patient as the canteen and uniform desk will be sharing it, so consider cash only for the canteen until 0930.
COVID Social Distancing and Sanitizer: Please remember to follow COVID-19 safe practices, stay 1.5m apart from non-family members, regularly sanitize your hands. All visitors (those not registered or not normally living with a CLAC athlete) must sign in for contact tracking purposes.
Age Group Coordinators, a reminder to get athletes using the hand sanitizer before each event, and use the sanitizing spray on all hand-held equipment after each use! This includes, spikes, flags, tapes etc as well as shots, discuss, javelins etc.
The Southern All States are open: At the Domain Saturday on 21 November, this State Meet is open to all CLAC registered athletes, but pre-registration is essential. Remember if your athlete(s) attends it is an expectation that a parent/guardian will assist in a track or field duty or two to make sure the events run on time. These duties are normally given to our Centre and then we allocate internally to families.
Tiny Tots: A reminder that the Tiny Tots program is not offered on our twilight Meets. We are still requesting a volunteer or two to assist in running these events during our Saturday Meets, so if you have capacity please consider helping. Older athletes may wish to consider assisting for the 30-45 minute program.
Set-up /Pack-up Duty: The following families are requested to assist on setup/pack up this weekend. Arrive at 7:45 please to assist in this task.

Proof of Age: Some athletes still require a POA check, please bring a copy of a birth certificate/passport or ID with DOB on it so it can be crossed off.
Training: We have the ground booked for training most Tuesdays from 4:30pm – 5:30pm for the remainder of the season. However we don’t have a coach, so at the moment we can’t conduct training. If you are able to assist us, please have a discussion with a committee member! We hope to get this going soon and ideally we’d like to get previous athletes back for some of these sessions so our juniors can get tips from athletes competing at seniors.
