All Records can be found here at the Tas Little Aths site – we also have CLAC centered spreadsheets as below.
Individual Records:
These records are the best performances by Clarence Athletes at our home venue since the Centre’s inception, they are updated as they occur.
As we do not recognize performances at other meets (other Centres & State meets), or meets we hold away from home (eg: at the Domain), these records give those performances the credit they deserve. Outside records have been kept since 2001 – records set prior to 2001 were State records at the time.
Multi/Combined Event Records:
In 2012 CLAC introduced a local Multi Event. These are the current Points Records.
The Multi was changed to the Combined Event as of 2023 and all pre 2022/23 season records were retired – with a new scoring system coming into effect and the results are as listed:

Outside points records for Multi Events are also available:

ALAC Best Performances to Season 2022-23
For the lucky few Clarence athletes who are selected to represent Tasmania in the Australian Little Athletics Championships, these are the best performances by Clarence athletes at those championships. PLEASE NOTE: ALAC did not go ahead for the 19/20 or 20/21 Season due to COVID-19.
Local Record Procedure:
The Age Group Coordinator (or Chief of Event) is to check the Record on the Event sheet provided before commencing the Event. The person taking note of the distance / height results etc should also be aware of the Record. They can then remind each other if an athlete is getting close to that mark.
If a record has been achieved please contact the tower or grab a committee member BEFORE moving any equipment etc at the site. Therefore hold the spike in the measured area at long jump, shot put, discus and javelin and don’t allow anyone to walk through the area. If an athlete is attempting a record height at High Jump please call for a committee member BEFORE they attempt the jump.
The committee member will then check all is good with the jump, throw etc and complete a Record Sheet found in the age group folder. If the attempt is their first or second of three attempts, the result will be noted and, if time allows, the Committee member will stay for the next attempt rather than writing out two to three record sheets. If the record is again broken on second and or third attempts, you may follow the same procedure.
Once these records are ratified at a Committee Meeting, a Record Certificate is produced and the website is updated. The athlete will then be asked to collect their Certificate from the Tower when available.
If this procedure is not followed, unfortunately a Record cannot be awarded.
